To add the Sliding Lid to your mug, press the Sliding Lid onto your Ember Mug until the silicone ring is no longer exposed.
How do I replace the slider?
Squeeze the tabs beneath the slider while pushing through the lid until the slider is removed. Take your lid with the sip hole facing towards you. Place your selected slider so that the tabs line up and the Ember logo is facing upright. Next, simply push the slider until it clicks into place.
How does the Sliding Lid double the battery life of my Ember Mug?
The Sliding Lid doubles the battery life of Ember Mugs in 6, 10, and 14 oz sizes only. It does this by further insulating your hot beverage and by minimizing heat loss. Your battery will last longer because less energy is being used to keep your drink at 135°.
How do I clean my Sliding Lid?
To effectively clean your Sliding Lid, remove it from your Ember Mug. Next, we recommend removing the silicone band that is fixed around the rim of the bottom of the Sliding Lid so you can wash both separately. Also, we recommend periodically removing the slider to clean underneath.
