5 Baby Bottle Questions Answered
1. What milk or formula does it work with?
The Ember Baby Bottle System works with milk and almost all formulas. If using thicker formulas, like rice formulas, It may be necessary to warm the water first and mix in the formula afterwards.
2. How do I clean the System if it is a smart device?
Bottle parts disassemble quickly and easily for fast cleaning and are safe for use in dishwashers (top rack only), sterilizers, or boiling water. When placed in the dishwasher make sure smaller parts are contained so that they do not fall through the rack. The Insulating Thermal Dome should be cleaned by hand with warm soapy water. Clean the Smart Warming Puck with a damp cloth, baby wipe, or alcohol wipe regularly.
3. How do I switch to 8 oz bottles?
Easily change your 6 oz bottle to an 8 oz one by swapping out the clear middle section of the bottle, or “bottle body.” There’s no need to buy a whole new bottle! Note: 8 oz Thermal Dome is coming soon!
4. Can I refrigerate bottles?
Yes, you can place the Baby Bottles in the refrigerator until they are ready to use. However, don’t place the Smart Warming Puck or Insulating Thermal Dome in your refrigerator.
5. How does the Puck/charging work?
The Smart Warming Puck is the brain of the Ember Baby Bottle System. It uses multiple sensors within the bottle to determine temperature and liquid level. That is how we ensure milk or formula is warmed evenly and is precisely body temperature. It can warm at least two 6 oz bottles, depending on the starting temperature of the liquid in the bottle. The colder the milk, water, or formula, the more battery you will use and the longer heating will take.
